Moreover, the country had been incessantly told that Hillary had it in the bag. On Election Day, The New York Times put her chances of winning at 85 percent. Princeton professor Sam Wang — who’d correctly predicted 49 out of 50 states in 2012! — said Clinton was more than 99 percent likely to be the next president. How many Clinton voters saw those polls and thought, I’ll just say I voted for her and go get my nails done.
If Trump is bad, Clinton was worse
When Richard Nixon was compelled to resign from office or face certain impeachment, the world was shocked: in America, even the POTUS could be held accountable to the force of the Rule of Law! By the time Bill Clinton faced impeachment, the Rule of American Law was a demonstrable farce. The effort to pre-empt Donald Trump from running for office against an inept walking corpse using paltry charges shows shameless hypocrisy. But surely this is a nail in the coffin for any remaining respect of Democrats.
The articles of impeachment against Nixon charged him with obstruction of justice and abuse of power. Much is made of Trump's payoff (which was admittedly not illegal, much like Clinton's $850,000 payoff to Paula Jones) because it allegedly impacted the 2016 election. But then there are Hunter's laptop and Hillary's Steele dossier. Bill Clinton lied to the American people for months about using the power of his position to take advantage of a vulnerable young woman. (So much for #MeToo.) He'd still be lying today, if not for his dried semen on her dress.
Clinton also lied under oath, a crime called "perjury," much more egregious than mislabeling a payoff as attorneys' fees. As Judge Susan Webber Wright opined in the civil case against Clinton:
Simply put, the President's deposition testimony regarding whether he had ever been alone with Ms. Lewinsky was intentionally false ... and his statements regarding whether he had ever engaged in sexual relations with Ms. Lewinsky likewise were intentionally false, notwithstanding tortured definitions and interpretations of the term sexual relations.
Strong majorities of Republicans openly declared they would vote to impeach Nixon — for a cover-up. Clinton flagrantly perjured himself, but Democrats rallied to forestall impeachment. Nancy Pelosi declared:
Today the Republican majority is not judging the president with fairness but impeaching him with a vengeance[.] ... In the investigation of the president fundamental principles which Americans hold dear, privacy, fairness, checks and balances, have been seriously violated, and why? Because we are here today because the Republicans in the House are paralyzed with hatred of President Clinton, and until the Republicans free themselves of this hatred, our country will suffer.
This hypocritical double standard was aped by Chuck Schumer:
"Lying under oath about an extramarital relationship requires significant punishment, such as censure, but not the political version of capital punishment, impeachment," he said.
"My colleagues, the rule of law requires that the punishment fit the crime," said Schumer. "Allow us to vote for censure, the appropriate punishment under rule of law."
But Clinton paid no penalty: he was above the law as applied by shameless Democrats, who now exhibit contempt not just for Trump, but for all Republicans. In the name of "defending democracy," this grotesque perversion of former liberalism is hyper illiberal, puking on the First Amendment under the guise of throttling "hate speech," while spewing hatred through BLM, Antifa, and a twisted denigration of murdered children, calling instead for "vengeance" on behalf of unhinged transgender miscreants.
The Rule of Law stands no chance when biology and facts are treated as malleable fiction. Vaccines touted as "98% effective" don't work while sickening Americans, for a disease created in a lab but blamed on market animals. Puberty-blocking hormones are gushingly pushed as salvific, ignoring their experimental nature, lifelong dependency, probable harms, and the underlying fact that most youth transgenderism is an idiotic child fad.
This spin-baloney is now in full churn against the trumped up shenanigans against Donald Trump. Many liberal media outlets have conceded that the recent charges are perhaps flimsy. Politico notes that "Alvin Bragg's case against Donald Trump is running into a wall of skepticism" and that Mitt Romney said something true:
I believe the New York prosecutor has stretched to reach felony criminal charges in order to fit a political agenda. ... The prosecutor's overreach sets a dangerous precedent for criminalizing political opponents and damages the public's faith in our justice system.
Ya think?
The witch hunt by the MSM will still call for Trump's head, heedlessly. As American Thinker's Andrea Widburg explained, "blatant leftism [has] reduced the law to a mockery." Left-wing pundits are targeting Trump's understandable outrage over violations of basic legal strictures as justification for his removal.
An opinion in The Atlantic titled "Depraved, Deranged, and Doing Real Damage" ludicrously clamors:
In the past, wondering just how far a party would go in defense of its leader was a matter of speculation. But Trump has moved this question from the realm of speculation to the realm of reality. The GOP has hitched its wagon to Trump, and he is leading them to places even they never imagined. A grotesque man presides over a grotesque party.
Which grotesque party presided over the non-accountability of Bill Clinton for perjury? False claims of Russian collusion? Biden family deals with China?
PolitiFact claims, "Our only agenda is to publish the truth so you can be an informed participant in democracy," then claims there is no comparison between the Paula Jones and Stormy Daniels controversies:
Although Trump's and Clinton's situations both involve politicians making payments to women, the similarities end there. ... Clinton personally paid Jones to settle a sexual harassment lawsuit after Jones publicly aired her allegations, and after Clinton had already been elected president.
Indeed, there are many noteworthy differences: Trump's unproven relations with Daniels are alleged to have been consensual, whereas Clinton's behavior was an allegedly perverse sexual assault against a married woman (and Lewinsky's was proven with DNA!). Trump didn't commit perjury in a court of law. Clinton sauntered on with impunity, while Trump is being excoriated.
Of course, guilt is presumed. Another Atlantic screed screeches:
The case isn't immediately connected to the survival of American democracy as is the federal investigation into Trump's responsibility for the January 6 insurrection or the Georgia probe into his efforts to meddle in the state's counting of the 2020 vote[.] ... And yet it would be a mistake to brush it off as unserious. The Manhattan case, in its own quirky way, underscores how profoundly unsuited Trump is for the office he once held and that he is now again seeking.
The height of irony is displayed in a CNN opinion piece co-authored by moralizer John Dean:
Despite the salacious details, this is an important case for democracy. ... Bragg's case is a strong one and should not be resisted merely because it involves a controversial political figure. ... [O]ur experience with rogue presidents has taught us ... the bedrock of our democracy: No president is above the law.
Dean has betrayed nearly everything he has touched. He was fired for ethics violations at his first legal job; was involved in Watergate and then cut an immunity deal; was disbarred for obstruction of justice; supervised payments of "hush money" to the Watergate burglars, notably E. Howard Hunt; and wrote a series of conservative-hating tomes, including Conservatives without Conscience and Broken Government: How Republican Rule Destroyed the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial Branches.
Dean turned his acrid tongue against Brett Kavanaugh and spewed special venom against Donald Trump, comparing Republicans to Mussolini and "drawing a direct line from the Watergate break-in to the insurrection at the US Capitol on 6 January 2021."
Dean left the GOP to become an unscrupulous Democrat. Americans are walking away from this immoral hypocrisy and becoming patriotic, truth-loving conservatives.
Trump may be convicted on these bogus charges. But the backlash against Democrat hypocrisy is long overdue, and it will accelerate.
The survival of our republic depends on it.

Democrats are playing Republicans like a fiddle. The left’s sole objective is to make Trump the Republicans’ 2024 presidential nominee. He’s already lost three election cycles for the GOP — why not make it four?
A month ago, things were looking bad for the Democrats.
Immediately after Trump announced for president last November, he may as well have gone into the witness protection program. Even Fox News cut away from his announcement speech. He had to have dinner with a noted Hitler enthusiast to get any attention, and, when he spoke at CPAC in February, the room was half-empty.
Looming before them was the threat from Florida: Gov. Ron DeSantis. He was beating Trump in the presidential polls without even announcing. He’d scored victory after victory against Democrats and won his reelection bid — in a purple state! — by 20 points, despite attacks from Trump.
Against DeSantis’ smarts and energy, the Democrats would be running President Senile Dementia and a vice president whose sole credentials are that she is black and a woman.
They had only one hope: Get Trump the nomination. Liberals: HE’S A DANGER TO THE NATION! NEVER HAVE WE FACED SUCH PERIL! Now let’s do everything we can to make sure he gets the nomination.
And that’s why Democrats indicted Trump on absurd charges this week, with the media covering the event like it was the capture of Osama Bin Laden. Today, the party mandarins are sitting around laughing as Republicans trip over themselves to defend Trump.
This was the whole point of my book, Resistance Is Futile: How the Trump-Hating Left Lost Its Collective Mind. Instead of attacking Trump for the things he’d actually done, liberals would run off and make wild charges, forcing normal people to say, I don’t like the guy, but he’s not a Russian agent.
The endless stream of preposterous charges against Trump only helped him.

So why not launch another ridiculous accusation to help him get the nomination? That’s exactly what they did in last year’s GOP primaries, supporting Trump’s nut-bar candidates, knowing they would go on to lose the general election. By boosting Trump’s candidates, Democrats managed to pull out a historic midterm victory for Biden.
And now, they’re doing it again, trying to trick Republicans into choosing the worst possible presidential nominee. Guess what? It’s working! New GOP motto: Unable to learn from the third kick of a mule.
In response to Trump’s arraignment on Tuesday, all conservative media swept aside news of out-of-control crime, chaos at the border, fentanyl overdoses, and the looming recession. Their No. 1 job became: SAVE TRUMP! A major conservative talk radio host even suggested DeSantis stand down and endorse Trump.
True, everyone at MSNBC is a Trump-hating zealot. But this helps obscure the real objective. Half the Democrats genuinely hate Trump, and the other half are saying, This is fantastic. We’re going to win him the nomination.
Politico reports that Biden’s senior advisers reacted to Trump’s recent surge in the polls with unmitigated joy. “We beat Trump once, they say, and will again.”
They’re absolutely right. After voters reject you once, they almost never change their minds. In all of U.S. history, losing presidential candidates have run again about a dozen times. Only three of those renominations were successful — and only one since 1892. (Nixon was the only one to do it in the past 131 years. Of course, that first election probably was stolen from him, but Nixon graciously conceded, instead of running around making a complete ass of himself.)
Everyone acts as if Trump’s 2016 win was a gigantic, stupendous victory, when in reality he barely squeaked by. Don’t confuse “startling” with “big.”

Yet and still, out of 139 million votes cast in 2016, Trump won with a mere 80,000 votes across three states. Flip those votes, and Hillary wins.
Trump’s winning was a shock, but it wasn’t an amazing, spectacular victory, indicative of some sort of electoral magic.
And then, of course, Trump went on to turn his presidency over to Jared and Ivanka, betray his voters (But he moved the embassy!), and lose the next three election cycles.
Republicans: No matter how angry you are at Democrats for politicizing the law, please remember: Trump. Will. Lose. To. Biden. There is absolutely no scenario in which he wins. The good news is there’s virtually no scenario where Biden wins — unless Trump is his opponent.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) told Breitbart News last week that Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration has been “fighting” against transparency “every step of the way” with GOP investigators probing the president’s family business dealings.
The main objective of “political animals” like Obama and the Clintons is to get elected; it’s not to fix a broken America, nor to protect her. There are people who govern and there are people who campaign; Obama and the Clintons are the latter. Just look at the huge Republican electoral gains under Obama and the Clintons. It’s amazing that Democrats who still care about their party still support the very people who have brought it down.

Victorious Democrats would also end congressional investigations into the Hillary-Deep State-DNC-Russian-Clinton Foundation collusion and corruption. All the players in these massive, sordid affairs will be deemed “too big to jail” – and too closely tied to the Democratic Party to be investigated further.
It’s time the media and other Democrats stopped misleading the public that they believe in equal treatment and that no one is above the law
As the media and other Democrats salivate about Trump being charged with a crime in one of the many witch hunts, they should be asked some questions. They say he must be charged because we need election fairness and no one is above the law.
So here is a sample of what politicians and bureaucrats have done in the last 12 years, and I wonder what people think is the bigger threat and who was actually above the law.

It was a clear violation of the First Amendment, yet every participant of the government was above the law. They destroyed computers and lied to Congress, but the Justice Department let them off.
The U.S. Justice Department has reached a settlement with dozens of conservative groups that claimed the Internal Revenue Service unfairly scrutinized them based on their political leanings when they sought a tax-exempt status, court documents showed.
The Justice Department was involved from the start.

The documents prove that Lois Lerner met with DOJ’s Election Crimes Division a month before the 2010 elections.
It has to be embarrassing to the DOJ, which may not be the most impartial one to be investigating the IRS. In fact, the DOJ withheld over 800 pages of Lerner documents citing "taxpayer privacy" and "deliberative privilege." Yet these internal DOJ documents show Ms. Lerner was talking to DOJ officials about prosecuting tax-exempt entities (yes, criminally!) two years before the IRS conceded there was inappropriate targeting.
It sure helps a criminal when a biased political supporter conducts the pretend investigation.

The government, journalists, and former intelligence officials colluded to bury the story of Biden family corruption specifically to hide the truth before an election. Biden didn't pay anybody to squelch the story. They did it because they were actively campaigning for him.
Hunter's business partner visited the White House sixteen times while Joe was VP yet somehow the media, who say they care about facts and corruption, still don't care. Democrats also pretend that Joe is telling the truth when he said he never had anything to do with Hunter's business deal and that he and his family never received money from foreign sources.

Isn't it time that journalists and other Democrats stopped intentionally misleading the public that they believe the Justice Department is impartial and that no one is above the law. It is such an obvious lie -- yet none of the people pretending to be fact checkers call them out because they are just as dishonest.
Benedict Arnold, Bill Clinton, Joe Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas – liars and traitors all
We can only wonder at the question: do the last two generations know who Benedict Arnold was? Most likely not; they’ve not been taught legitimate American history for decades. To the young of today, Arnold might be a hero for betraying his country.
Polls show our young people do not respect or even like this country. Arnold, who had been a good soldier, was angry at being passed over for promotion and so began colluding with the British. He was an 18th century. Mark Felt. His name is (or was) interchangeable with the word “traitor.”
Bill Clinton was generally known as a brazen liar about the Lewinsky affair and all that it entailed; a tawdry, unseemly affair that he lied about incessantly until he couldn’t. He paid Paula Jones a court-ordered $800k but was never prosecuted for his loathsome behavior and gross dishonesty.
His wife is equally and personally devious and corrupt; she had the fake “dossier” concocted she was certain would take Trump out of the running for president in 2016. Hillary used her position as Secretary of State of State to rake in millions of dollars to her phony Clinton Foundation, much of that money from other nations that sought to benefit from her largesse when President.
That couple’s corruption was and is a blight on America’s history. They made LBJ seem like an amateur. The Clintons were criminals and they delighted in their criminality; they knew they were untouchable. They were a greedy couple, and their illicit machinations made them fabulously rich.
The Obamas learned their lessons well and also became fabulously rich by perfidious means. It’s likely that Biden has based his corruption on the Clinton model.
Joe Biden has been a pathological liar for all his years in Congress, as a representative and then as a senator. He can’t open his mouth without lies spewing forth; there are far too many to list. From his early support of segregation to his later denial; his plagiarism, his lies about his academic record, etc., etc.
In truth, Biden has always been a racist, a rather vicious one at that. See his attempt to humiliate Clarence Thomas at his SCOTUS confirmation. The man is one of the most greedy, corrupt politicians ever to steal the presidency, which he did, and to end up in the Oval Office.
He is entirely without “knowledge” now; he is obviously in the throes of dementia. How else to explain his shocking inappropriate jollity when he was sent to a podium to speak about the Nashville murders of six people, three of them aged nine?
Biden has always been a liar; he became a traitor when he began using his position, his son, and brother to sell influence to China, Russia and Ukraine for millions of dollars. Given the damage he’s done to the country in two years, it is safe to assume he is a controlled asset of China. They own him, which is why he has allowed the destruction of the dollar as the global currency.
Every American surely knows by now that the Democrat party is pro-criminal, anti-dissent. In blue states across the nation, criminals are routinely allowed onto the streets without bail to commit more crime. Innocent people are being attacked with impunity on a daily basis in DC, in NY, Chicago, SF, and LA, etc.
If the perpetrators are caught, they are often released onto an unsuspecting public by Soros-funded DAs to repeat and escalate their criminal behavior. Our Marxist left relies on chaos, on the calculated destruction of the family, on the thorough indoctrination of our children.
How do they go about this decades-old plan? They advocate for the normalization of homosexuality, transgenderism and the genital mutilation that comes with that particular form of mental illness. The pro-trans activists encourage doctors to remove the breasts of girls as young as thirteen, even hysterectomies.
Who are the doctors that perform these procedures? They are purely evil, traitors to the Hippocratic Oath they may have sworn to uphold. The lies that undergird the ideology of transgenderism are not only appalling but provable. There are only two sexes. It is tragic that there is a Supreme Court justice that does not know what every three-year-old knows.
The appearance of Alejandro Mayorkas before the Senate on Tuesday was the height of prevarication. The man did not answer a single question. He stonewalled, dissembled and flat-out lied. He claimed not to know how many migrants have died on their journey to our southern border. He did not know how many children have been trafficked.
When Senator Cruz showed him pictures of the wrist bands that all migrants wear as ordered by the cartels, Mayorkas pretended not to know what they were. The bands indicate how much money each migrant owes the cartels for getting them across the border. There is no way Mayorkas does not know what they are, what they mean; the children especially will be slaves to the cartels. This man is truly abhorrent, another enemy of America in a position of undeserved power.
That the Republicans in congress have not impeached him is a testament to their culpability, their slavish cowardice. But they’ve also done nothing about the unconstitutional abuse of the J6 prisoners, so what more can we expect? The uniparty is the uniparty. The few who do remember and revere the Constitution are too few and their meek colleagues offer no support. They too, like the doctors who mutilate kids confused about their gender, have forgotten their oath. They too are liars and traitors.
In short, we are being governed by a host of Benedict Arnolds, liars and traitors who have done far less for the nation than even Benedict Arnold did. The Biden cabinet is an assemblage of incompetents, people chosen for their skin color or sexual orientation, not any particular skill or expertise. Consider Defense Department boneheads, Austin and Milley. Apparently there are drag queen performances for children on our military bases around the world! They each claimed not to know this! How is that possible?
Unless all Republicans step up to the plate to save the nation, we are well and truly done; over.
