THE DIRTY POLITICS OF ONE MORE DIRTY LAWYER - THE CASE OF HILLARY CLINTON AND THE RUSSIANS - Russia donated $0.00 to the Trump campaign. Russia donated $145,600,000 to the Clinton Foundation. But Trump was the one investigated.

Newly released documents give a clearer picture about the Russia hoax

We learned last week that (a) Hillary Clinton approved of faking a Russia-Trump scandal to detract from her unsecured server; (b) that then–CIA director John Brennan briefed Obama and intelligence officials about the plan; and (c) that intelligence officials sent a memo to Peter Strzok tell him of Hillary's plan.  The actual documents were made available on Tuesday.  They revealed that Obama knew almost from the beginning that "Russian collusion" was a hoax, while the media's current cover-up of the newly released documents shows that the Russia hoax will live forever in their reporting.

Brennan's July 2016 notes of his meeting with Obama and other national security advisers are almost entirely blacked out.  What remains, though, establishes that Obama knew as of July that Hillary intended to fake collusion between Trump and the Russians:

We're getting additional insight into Russian activities from [redacted].

Cite [?] alleged approval by Hillary Clinton on 28 July of a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisors to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security services.

In the same notes, Brennan wrote 14 bullet point items, only one of which is unredacted.  It states, "Any evidence of collaboration between Trump campaign and Russian."  That language may or may not be related to the initials "POTUS" that appear one line above in the margin.

The other initials in the margin are JC (James Comey?), Denis (McDonough?), and Susan (Rice?).

A subsequent September 2016 memo from the White House's security officials to Peter Strzok addresses the already existing Crossfire Hurricane investigation.  The relevant, unredacted information states:

3. [Redacted] Per FBI verbal request, CIA provides the below examples of information the CROSSFIRE HURRICANE fusion cell has gleaned to date [Source revealing information redacted]:

a. [Redacted] An exchange [redacted] discussing US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's approval of a plan concerning US presidential candidate Donald Trump and Russian hackers hampering US elections as a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server. [Redacted.] According to open sources, Guccifer 2.0 is an individual or group of hackers whom US officials believe is tied to Russian intelligence services. Also per open sources, Guccifer 2.0 claimed credit for hacking the Democratic National Committee (DNC) this year.

The myriad redactions are irksome, considering that they violate Trump's executive order demanding that agencies produce all relevant documents without redactions:

Despite the redactions, the available material answers the famous Watergate question: "What did the President know and when did he know it?"  President Obama knew in July that Hillary planned to frame Trump.  He nevertheless colluded with the Deep State to spy on Trump's campaign and, after the election, to carry out a coup against Trump's presidency.  Trump is right to call this "perhaps the biggest political crime in the history of our Country."

Half of America, however, will never know about this scandalous crime.  The mainstream media are either suppressing it or folding, spindling, and mutilating it beyond recognition.

As of 2 A.M. EDT on Wednesday, the New York Times made no mention of the newly released documents.  However, it published an article accusing Trump of downplaying "Russian interference in the American political process."

The Washington Post referenced the documents, but only to accuse Trump of trusting Russian intelligence over American intelligence — even though the newly released materials show that it was Hillary who colluded with Russia.

CNN mentioned the document release but leapt to Brennan's defense: Brennan claims that director of National Intelligence Ratcliffe is selectively declassifying documents to help Trump.  Considering that Trump is demanding that everything should be declassified and that CIA director Gina Haspel is refusing, that's a bizarre defense.

CNN's homepage, by the way, has abandoned any pretense of reporting news; it's purely a Democrat propaganda outlet:

Drilling down into the subtitles under the main headings, that page is, if anything, even worse than it was Tuesday morning, when Tom Bevan first commented upon it:

What the newly released documents confirm is that Democrats are utterly corrupt.  They have become a hard-left cabal of people who will do anything — lying, conniving, censoring, manipulating — to maintain political power.  Any group of people who want power that much are the last people who should ever be trusted with it.

Tom Cotton on Russia Collusion Hoax: ‘Safe to Say That Joe Biden Knew About It’

1:47

In a Wednesday interview with FNC’s “Fox & Friends,” Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) suggested 2020 Democratic presidential nominee former Vice President Joe Biden knew about 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s “plan” to distract from her email scandal by alleging Russian collusion by then-candidate Donald Trump.

Cotton said since declassified documents show former CIA Director John Brennan briefed former President Barack Obama on the plan, it is “safe to say” Biden was aware of the plan himself.

“I think you have to assume that Joe Biden knew and was in on this from the very beginning,” Cotton outlined. “I understand that John Brennan is upset over being exposed, but his handwritten notes from the summer of 2016 really confirm what common sense has told us all along. The only candidate and the only campaign to use foreign disinformation in 2016 was Hillary Clinton. She hired a foreign spy who had sources in Russia — probably Russian intelligence officers, themselves — to dig up dirt on Donald Trump and then to spread it around the American media. Of course, the Kremlin would have gotten wind of that effort by Christopher Steele, a former British spy, to try to identify that information. And, of course, they were trying to use that as a way to inject their own disinformation into the American political debate. The person and the campaign responsible for that is Hillary Clinton and the Democrats.”

He added, “Barack Obama knew about it as early as the summer of 2016. I think it’s safe to say that Joe Biden knew about it as well.”

Insights to Consider Before November

Read this like your future depends upon it.

Here are some interesting points to think about prior to the November election, especially for my friends on the fence, like moderate Democrats, Libertarians and Independents, Never-Trump Republicans, and those thinking of "walking away" from the Democrat party.

Women are upset at Trump’s naughty words. They also bought 80 million copies of 50 Shades of Gray.

Not one feminist has defended Sarah Sanders. It seems women’s rights only matter if those women are liberal.

No border wall. No voter ID laws. Did you figure it out yet? But wait... there's more.

Chelsea Clinton got out of college and got a job at NBC that paid $900,000 per year. Her mom flies around the country speaking out about white privilege.

And just like that, they went from being against foreign interference in our elections to allowing non-citizens to vote in our elections.

President Trump’s wall costs less than the Obamacare website. Let that sink in, America.

We are one election away from open borders, socialism, gun confiscation, and full-term abortion nationally. We are fighting evil.

They sent more troops and armament to arrest Roger Stone than they sent to defend Benghazi.

Sixty years ago, Venezuela was 4th on the world economic freedom index. Today, they are 179th and their citizens are dying of starvation. In only 10 years, Venezuela was destroyed by "democratic socialism".

Russia donated $0.00 to the Trump campaign. Russia donated $145,600,000 to the Clinton Foundation. But Trump was the one investigated.

Nancy Pelosi invited illegal aliens to the State of the Union. President Trump invited victims of illegal aliens to the State of the Union. Let that sink in.

A socialist is basically a communist who doesn’t have the power to take everything from their citizens at gunpoint... yet.

How do you walk 3000 miles across Mexico without food or support and show up at our border 100 pounds overweight and with a cellphone?

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to ban cars, ban planes, give out universal income and she thinks socialism works. She calls Donald Trump crazy.

Bill Clinton paid $850,000 to Paula Jones to get her to go away. I don’t remember the FBI raiding his lawyer’s office.

I wake up every day and I am grateful that Hillary Clinton is not the president of the United States of America.

The same media that told me Hillary Clinton had a 95% chance of winning now tells me Trump’s approval ratings are low.

“The problem with socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people’s money”— Margaret Thatcher

Maxine Waters opposes voter ID laws; she thinks that they are racist. You need to have a photo ID to attend her town hall meetings.

President Trump said, "They’re not after me. They’re after you. I’m just in their way."

Now, go back and read this again like your future depends upon it. Because it does

WHAT DID OBAMA KNOW?

The declassification of notes written in 2016 by former CIA Director John Brennan highlight -- they don't solve, but they highlight -- one of the biggest mysteries of the Trump-Russia investigation. We know that the Obama administration's intelligence and law enforcement agencies targeted the Trump campaign in the last three months of the 2016 campaign, and after that in the transition. But how much did President Barack Obama know about it? That's the mystery.

The heavily-redacted notes were declassified by Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe. In Brennan's own handwriting, they show that Brennan personally briefed Obama that U.S.

intelligence had learned that Russian spies had collected information about an alleged Clinton campaign plan, approved by Hillary Clinton herself, to link rival candidate Donald Trump to Russia's hacking of Democratic National Committee emails. Clinton, according to the Russian intelligence, wanted to divert public attention away from the scandal surrounding her use of a personal email system.

"We're getting additional insight into Russia activities from [REDACTED]," the notes said, indicating the source of the insight was blacked out by the Intelligence Community before release. The notes said the source alleged that Hillary Clinton had personally approved "a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisers to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security service."

What might that mean?
Well, we already know that on July 24, 2016, when the DNC hack was in the news, Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook went on TV to allege that Trump was somehow linked to the Russian hack. That same day, the New York Times reported that portraying Trump as too close to Russia was "emerging as a theme of Mrs. Clinton's campaign." So everyone knows that the Clinton campaign, in public, was trying to link Trump to the Russian hack.

Now, what some Republicans worry about is that the Brennan notes suggest the Clinton campaign was doing more than just talk. Somewhere around that time in 2016, the campaign and the DNC engaged the opposition research firm Fusion GPS, which in turn hired the former British spy Christopher Steele to compile what later became known as the "dossier." The dossier, as everyone knows now, was a series of false claims that the Trump campaign was working with Russia to influence the election. It also contained the salacious and false story alleging that in a Moscow hotel room in 2013, private citizen Trump watched as prostitutes performed a kinky sex act -- and Russian spies videotaped the whole thing.

What is unknown now is whether the newly-declassified notes suggest a Clinton campaign plan that resulted in the creation of the dossier -- and whether Obama knew about it. We do know that the FBI embraced Steele -- they literally wanted to hire him to do his anti-Trump work during the final months of the campaign. We know that the FBI, including then-Director James Comey, wanted to include unverified information from the dossier in the Intelligence Community Assessment of Russian interference in the 2016 election. And we know that on January 5, 2017, Comey briefed the Moscow hotel room story to President Obama and then, the next day, to President-elect Trump.

Brennan tried to cast doubt on the story in an appearance on CNN Monday. "These were my notes from the 2016 period when I briefed President Obama and the rest of the National Security Council team about what the Russians were up to, and I was giving examples of the type of access that the U.S. Intelligence community had to Russian information and what the Russians were talking about and alleging," Brennan said. "Now if, in fact, what the Russians were alleging was that Hillary was trying to highlight the reported connections between Trump and the Russians, if in fact that was accurate -- and that's a big 'if' -- there is nothing at all illegal about that."

That is not exactly a denial. In 2017, 2018, and 2019, during special counsel Robert Mueller's Trump-Russia investigation, it was often remarked that collusion was not illegal, and yet that did not keep the media from talking constantly about it. Now, Brennan is seeking to downplay the new notes by arguing that even if true, they do not suggest anything illegal. Fine. But it might still be a very big deal. And we need more declassification, more information, to get a fuller picture of what Brennan and other top Obama officials — including President Obama himself — were up to in 2016.

Obama Could Have United Us with What He Knew About Hillary, Instead He Divided Us Further

He didn't have to stay silent. He could have told us all that he knew, and if he had, he would have finally become the uniter he claims to be. But he didn't.

President Barack Obama could have addressed the American people in November 2016 and said:

"My fellow Americans, we have just gone through a tumultuous and unprecedented election. I supported and campaigned for Secretary Clinton and opposed Donald Trump's campaign with every ounce of my soul, and we lost. It hurts. But that's how things go in our great Democratic Republic.

"Now, I have been hearing news reports that Mr. Trump's campaign worked covertly with a foreign country to meddle in our election and therefore won this election through criminal activity and is not a legitimate president.

"That is not true. In fact, the evidence that we have seen suggests that these reports are actually fabricated as a part of Mrs. Clinton's opposition research campaign. Let me repeat, there is no evidence of the Trump campaign colluding with Russia, and the suggestion that there is evidence of such behavior was fabricated by Mrs. Clinton.

"I am instructing Attorney General Loretta Lynch to recuse herself and have asked President-Elect Trump to join me in asking for an independent counsel to investigate whether Mrs. Clinton, members of her campaign, or anyone in my administration may have violated the law.

"Our country deserves no less.

"Now, we must move on, together, and we Democrats have to learn some lessons and live to fight another day.

"Donald Trump is the president-elect, and I call on Mrs. Clinton, members of my administration, and all Americans to put this election behind us and unite behind him as our legitimate president."

In May, I used this space at Townhall Media to ask an important question: What did President Obama know about the plot to investigate, surveil and frame the Trump campaign (and later the Trump presidency), and when did he know it?

Today, we have a much clearer answer to that question.

As Katie Pavlich reported here last night, former CIA Director John Brennan personally briefed Obama in late July 2016, right in the middle of the presidential campaign, about Hillary Clinton's scheme to falsely accuse Trump of criminally colluding with Russia.

Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe on Tuesday declassified documents that revealed former CIA Director John Brennan briefed former President Obama on Hillary Clinton’s purported “plan” to tie then-candidate, Donald Trump, to Russia as “a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server” ahead of the 2016 presidential election, Fox News has learned.

Ratcliffe declassified Brennan’s handwritten notes – which were taken after he briefed Obama on the intelligence the CIA received – and a CIA memo, which revealed that officials referred the matter to the FBI for potential investigative action.

...

"CITE [summarizing] alleged approved by Hillary Clinton a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisers to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security service,” Brennan’s notes read.

It's clear. This was days before James Comey's FBI began its unprecedented counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign, apparently based on the Clinton campaign scheme Obama had been briefed on.

From that point forward, through the entire campaign, Obama knew that all the accusations and leaks and "Breaking Exclusive" reports about Russian collusion were nothing more than another dirty campaign trick from the dirtiest of politicians, Hillary Clinton.

Maybe it was the odious Sid Blumenthal who dreamed up the plot. Obama knew what a problem this guy was; he blocked him from a job in the State Department under Hillary Clinton in his first term. Maybe Blumenthal was the one who convinced Hillary to start the whole "birther" thing in the 2008 primaries and Obama hated him for it.

Regardless, Obama knew.

He remained silent all through the campaign when Hillary and her well-paid minions at Fusion GPS planted stories in the media accusing Trump of working with Putin to hack the DNC and meddle in the election. He knew and said nothing.

OK. It was an election. He was the sitting president, and he clearly had a vested interest in the outcome. Maybe he thought he should just keep his mouth shut and let things play out.

As so many of us have been wondering why Obama did nothing to stop Russia from meddling in the election in 2016, perhaps the real answer is because he figured it was all Clinton's dirty trick Brennan had briefed him on.

Who knows?

What we do know is what Obama could have done and what he refused to do after the election.

After the election, Obama knew Trump had won fair and square and without any meddling from Russia. He knew it as early as July.

And he still stayed silent.

The reprehensible "Russian Collusion" accusations began in the media (planted by Clinton and members of Obama's Administration), and he knew none of it was true.

And we were divided like never before. And we remain divided.

Now we know what Obama knew and when he knew it. And we know what he chose to do.

He chose to divide us.
